Again
Synopsis
A town where every hour can be run again until it comes out right. The discarded hours pile up outside the walls as crumpled sheets of paper, and nobody there has ever kept a first try.
Plot
One place, one game, one chain. The rule is shown with the body: somebody runs an hour again and, in the same shot, a crumpled sheet drops to the ground. By the end of the episode there is a drift of sheets up to the knee and nobody mentions it. Malios's flaw is his from the start: he redoes things until they are perfect, and here he finds a whole town that agrees with him. The lesson is never spoken. The last shot is the one the whole season answers: the needle jumps, his hand goes towards it, and stops halfway. For the first time he lets it play, and he does not know yet why that mattered.
